"The Witch's Tree" is a composite; the moon shot on Kodak Panatomic-X, the seascape on 17 Mile Drive, Carmel, CA. on Ilford FP4 and printed on matt finish Ilfobrom paper. The print was then rephotographed on Agfapan 25 as a master negative for subsequent printings.

"Solitude" was captured on Kodak Technical Pan film, using a Leica CL with a 40mm lens. The whisper-like sound of the Leica's shutter made it possible to capture this moment, without intrusion, in Bernini's monumental colonnade at the Vatican, Rome, Italy.

"Bi_y_le" was shot on Ilford XP1, a 35mm. variable ASA film, with a Leica CL using the 40mm. lens, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Although most people think the royal guards stand perfectly still, before breaking into their periodic march across their post, it appears they do not. At the lower left of the picture you'll see the edge of a box of fresh fruit. The guard is speaking, barely moving his mouth, his eyes cast toward his off camera brother, who tells him the fruit is from their Mum. The photo was made on Kodak Plus-X pan using a Hassleblad 500c and 80mm lens, in London, England

A visit to Kauai is not complete without a
helicopter tour. This image of the
Na Pali coastline was made with a

Kodacolor VR film.

Johnny Winter is one of my favorite
guitarists. Here he is in 1980 at the
Cotillion Ballroom, Wichita, KS

This photo was taken from the edge
of the stage using a Minolta SRT101
with an f1.4 50mm. lens, no flash,
and Kodak Tri-X pan film.

the Cotillion Ballroom, Wichita, KS

This photo was taken from the edge
of center stage using a Pentax LX
with an f1.4 50mm. lens, no flash,
and Ilford XP-1 film

A hot dog vendor hoping the streets
will fill up again after a heavy rain in
Ciudad Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico

The chance to see Robin Trower in a
relatively small club was something I
jumped at. Little did I know it would be
one of the loudest shows I've ever heard.

From about 25 feet, his guitar was so
loud, the film counter on my camera
was vibrating. This photo was made
using a Leica CL with an f4 90mm. lens,
Fuji ASA 1600 film and earplugs

Johnny Winter, 1985, back at
the Cotillion Ballroom, Wichita, KS.,
playing his little custom made Lazer
giutar, only using the trusty Firebird
for slide. A great show, as always.

This photo was taken from the right
side of the stage using a Pentax LX
with an f1,4 50mm. lens, no flash,
and Agfa SRX 400 film

Somewhere near Norman, Oklahoma
there is a large drive through park,
vast in acreage, where wild buffalo
freely roam. Where you have buffalo,
you also have prarie dogs.

Photographed with a Minolta SRT 101
with an f2.8 135mm lens on Kodak
Kodacolor 100 film.
